RTI  International  is recruiting qualified candidates  for the  vacant position above .

Job Requirements:
Responsibilities
•    Assist in the  management  of program  finances  and  administration.
•    Ensuring  compliance  with  RTI  financial  procedures
•    Ensure  timely  submission  of  expense  reports,  bank  reconciliations  and wire  transfer  requests  to RTI’s  corporate  headquarters in the  US  and /or  RTI’s  regional  office  in Nairobi.
•    Perform other related  duties  as  assigned
•    Report  to the  Finance  &  Administration Manager
Qualifications
•    A  masters degree in a related  with  a minimum  of one  year  of relevant experience   (preferred),  or a  bachelors degree in a related  field  with  a minimum  of three  years  of relevant  experience
•    Previous  accounting  experience  , preferably  on a  USAID/USG  or other  donor-funded  project
•    Knowledge of  institutional  accounting  and  budgeting  practices , especially those  used  by  USAID/USG
•    Audit experience  is a plus  , excellent computer skills  including  Word , Excel , and  Access, and  knowledge  of  Quickbooks is  preferred.

Job Requirements:
Roles
•    Effectively  manage  MFI  performance  monitoring  activities
•    Prepare  and  analyze financial  performance  reports  for individual  institutions  , peer groups  and the  microfinance   sector  (national  and  international  levels )
•    Coordinating  technical  assistance  and  facilitating  capacity  building  initiatives  for  institutions
•    Support  further  development  of the  performance  monitoring  system .
Qualifications
•    The  candidate  must   be  familiar with  technical aspects  of financial  sector  operations  with  emphasis  on microfinance . The  following  qualifications  and skills  are  mandatory :
•    University degree  in Finance  , Business  Administration , Microfinance , Economic  or  equivalent
•    At  least three  years  experience  as a  financial  analyst  in microfinance  or  banking
•    Strong  knowledge in MFI  accounting, reporting  and management .
•    Strong  written  and verbal  communication  and  problem  solving  skills

Job Requirements:


Main Duties
•    Head  the  Finance  and Administration  function ;
•    Developing  a Financial  Procedures Procedures  Mannual  that  is  simple  and easy  to use ;
•     Monitoring  and  Controlling  main  and  subsidiary  accounts
•    Preparing  financial  forecasts  ( income  statements,  cash  flow  and balances  sheet ) in  consultation  with  the  General  Manager ;
Qualifications
•    A   good  Honors  degree  in Accounting  ( or  equivalent  ) is  required;
•    Membership to a  professional  body  (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA, CFA)  is  mandatory;
•    Possession of  a Masters  degree  in Accounting  or  related  field  is an added advantage ;
•    At least  5 years  working  experience  in Government  aided  , Donor  funded  or  large  corporate  organization with   at least  three years  at management  level .
•    Experience in  Public  accounting  and  World  Bank  Financial  Management  systems  and  procedures  are  added advantages.
